CKP Spotlight

Welcome to the inaugural feature of our CKP Spotlight series. Today, we shine a light on the culinary maestro behind Chaurahe Ke Paar's exceptional dining experience.

It's with great excitement that we introduce Neeraj Khadka, the Executive Chef whose gastronomic genius has been the heartbeat of our kitchen.

Neeraj brings a tapestry of flavors to our tables, drawing on his rich experience and innovative spirit. With a career that spans several years and a passion for culinary arts that goes even further, he has been instrumental in crafting the unique dining experiences that our patrons have come to love and expect. Stay tuned as we dive deeper into Neeraj's journey, his philosophy on food, and the creative process behind his most beloved dishes.

With two years under your belt at Chaurahe Ke Paar, how do you believe the restaurant industry has evolved, and what trends do you see shaping the future of dining?

Dining out has definitely taken on new flavors from the time i have joined. We've got everyone walking through our doors, so we're cooking up a storm to please every palate—sweet, spicy, you name it, we've got it.

As a chef, dedication to your craft is paramount. Can you share what motivates you to maintain such a high level of commitment to your work each day?

What keeps me going? It's all about hitting that sweet spot of staying fresh and consistent. Sure, whipping up new dishes is great, but nailing them day after day? That's where the real buzz is.

Mentorship can be a powerful tool in the culinary world. Who has been your most significant mentor, and how have they influenced your approach to cooking?

Big shoutout to the legends like Gordon Ramsay and Vikas Khanna. Their flair and finesse are total game-changers, and I try to bring a bit of that magic to our kitchen.

In what ways do you think a chef's personal values should reflect in their culinary output and kitchen leadership?

Integrity, passion, and know-how are the main ingredients for any chef. Without them, the food's just meh. We pour these values into every dish for that extra zing.

What advice would you give to young chefs who aspire to reach the level of success you have achieved in the culinary industry?

Listen to your team, focus and stay in the game. Even when you hit the top, don't forget to keep your hands dirty in the kitchen. Stay hungry for knowledge, and don't stop flipping through those cookbooks.
